Sustainable Choices
Dear Expert: I want to make sustainable choices in my new home design. Is it expensive?
A: The current economic crisis presents an opportunity to build better, more sustainable homes. AIA is calling for the federal government to provide $30 billion for a plan that includes energy efficiency upgrades for residential construction and green affordable housing. If incentives and tax deductions are available to homeowners, green will be that much more attractive.
