Consignment Browsing

Century Buffet, $563.49
the Wabi Sabi Shop

There’s nothing quite like finding a great deal on that perfect chair or rug or vase. Two new fine home furnishings consignment stores in the Twin Cities may have just the treasure you’ve been looking for: The Wabi Sabi Shop, which opened last month in Plymouth, is not a sushi restaurant (the name comes from the ancient Japanese concept of living simply with transience). Here’s Pantone’s reasoning:... Read more »

Fiber Source, a specialty shop that features cotton and wool weaving yarns, books, new and used... Read more »

E-Flowers, Every Week

It’s grim, isn’t it? Days of sub-zero cold, followed by snow, followed by sub-zero cold... If you, like me, can do with a weekly reminder that lovely, living things in radiant colors still exist, sign up for emails from Camrose Hill. The Stillwater floral design studio will be delighted to deliver an exquisite e-bouquet to your inbox every week. Owner/floral designer Cindie Sinclair specializes in creating arrangements with informal, old-fashioned charm. She often begins with elements like branches and vines, then adds color and blooms. Sigh. Remember them? My... Read more »
