Buy/Collect Exhibit at Bookmen

I love searching out local artists and artisans. Even though too often I have to covet rather than buy their work, at least I get to share some of it with you. The most impressive collection I’ve seen: the one that belongs to Fox 9 news anchor Robyne Robinson. Sale on Cool Sean Tubridy Art

One of my favorite local graphic artists Sean Tubridy (oh, how I've lusted over a triptych of these "Home Ec" prints ....) is hosting a big sale of his graphic work, including retro-inspired prints of alien rayguns, classic film-loader cameras, transistor radios, jukeboxes, cigarette dispensers, Tonka trucks, and of course—Harvey the Robot. Update on Macy's Event

Okay, so in order to get your free $10 Macy's gift card, you have to be one of the first 75 people to RSVP to the Rebecca Moses event, which will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, in the Macy's lower level.
