Calling All Weavers!

Interested in weaving? Want to learn how? The open house this Saturday at Weaver’s Guild of Minnesota is the perfect place to check it out. The non-profit organization in Dinkytown is opening its doors to visitors to tour classrooms, meet instructors, see weaving and spinning demonstrations, and even try weaving on the floor loom.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the creative group of fiber artists will discuss the benefits of weaving, dyeing, and spinning.

Fiber Source, a specialty shop that features cotton and wool weaving yarns, books, new and used equipment, and tools will also be open. WGM is located in the Textile Center at 3000 University Ave. SE, Mpls.
