Jones Design Build Breakfast Room
So often, the informal dining area of houses I've toured look to be such afterthoughts—shoved to the side of the kitchen, or confined to barstools at a tall island. But this family, in the Kenwood neighborhood of Minneapolis, got something different and unique. While revamping and remodeling the family's kitchen, Jones Design Build of Shorewood added this light-infused dining nook, surrounded by bands of clerestory windows, and vaulted up like an orangery. What a lovely spot for coffee and muffins with the kids.
