LiLu Interiors Grand Opening—We Were There!
Last week, Midwest Home editor Chris Lee and I jaunted over to International Market Square to take a peek at LiLu Interiors' new digs on the fifth floor, and big congrats to firm principal Lisa Peck, who designed the amazing space. There was such a crush of wellwishers that we didn't get to see much of the space, but we did partake in a little Champagne and chocolate (including custom LiLu-branded morsels from Chocolat Celeste), and got the chance to meet up with Ian Grant, the star of the new Travel Channel show Relic Hunter, which premiered last Saturday night at 9 p.m. Grant showed off a few highlights from his show, including using a blowgun in Peru, hop dancing in Benin, and wearing a fabulous wool overcoat in Romania that looked like giant flares had been set off on both shoulders.
