Anoka

Anoka is a proud, historic community set along the banks of the beautiful Rum and Mississippi Rivers. Because the city is located at the confluence of the Rum with the Mississippi, opportunities for recreation abound—whether boating, exploring the city’s trail system, or enjoying one of Anoka’s many parks. The city has a vibrant downtown area and is home to many businesses, a technical college, and the Anoka County Fairgrounds. Anoka’s important location along the bustling corridor between the Twin Cities and St. Cloud points to a bright future for the city, including a commuter rail stop along the Northstar Corridor.
