EARLIER THIS YEAR, a number of Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA) members were honored with 2009 MNLA Landscape Awards for excellence in landscape design, installation, management, and sustainability. ¶ A panel of professionals in landscape education, landscape architecture, and horticulture evaluate the projects and select projects to receive a Grand Honor Award or a Merit Award. A Grand Honor Award is the highest level of recognition awarded for outstanding values; photos of the Grand Honor Award-winning projects appear on the following pages.
