International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA) is an international professional alliance of design professionals in the residential and commercial design industry. Our members represent all facets of the field, and include interior designers, manufacturers, contractors, tradesmen, distributors, installers, artists and artisans, specialists, publishers, and educators. For over 65 years, IFDA has provided a forum for communication, interaction, and education among its members. IFDA is proud of its commitment to community outreach programs and to its education and philanthropic arm of the organization, which awards more scholarships and grants than any other design association.
For over 60 years, there has been one industry trade association consistently dedicated to representing furnishings and design professionals; one organization in which members are part of not only a domestic and international focus, but are integral components of 16 regional chapters. Due to the expansive network of professionals who are part of IFDA, consumers have a wealth of resources at their fingertips. IFDA members develop trusted relationships with specialists who—as a team—bring product knowledge, proper application, efficiency, diversity, and depth to projects. These valuable resources enable consumers to obtain the right professional for the right application. IFDA is proud of its long-standing commitment to quality and functional design. Members believe that good design is timeless. They help clients navigate through a myriad of decisions, simplifying the process. IFDA members are the voice of the furnishings and design industry.
