“Creative work that artists (and audiences) move to big cities for.”
Slippery Fish and Swath are the first works presented as a part of the Links Hall Midwest Nexus Program, which enables Midwestern artists to tour to other heartland cities. This program launched in Chicago in June to extensive critical acclaim, described by New City magazine as the “creative work that artists (and audiences) move to big cities for”. This program provides the next phase of learning by doing—furthering Links Hall’s mission to encourage artistic innovation and public engagement. The Midwest Nexus Program provides the opportunity for artists and up-and-coming producers to mount performances at Links Hall and follow that success with a tour to a partnering Mid-western city.
