Landscape & Outdoor Living
(page 1 of 2)Outdoor living space around a home is often the area most underutilized by its owners. That’s not to say they don’t have a lawn or a few ornamental shrubs—but an eye-catching landscape will enhance the home’s exterior and draw people in with irresistible curb appeal. Landscaping helps anchor the home by connecting it to its surroundings. And an increase in curb appeal increases your home’s value.
“Landscaping” is a bit of a catch-all that may mean any of a variety of outdoor enhancements. Often, shrubbery, trees, and flowers come to mind. But so should a winding walkway, a paving stone driveway, a patio, or a pond or waterfall. Add outdoor night lighting for a dramatic new way of seeing your home and yard. Landscapes help turn your home’s environs into an outdoor room—terrific terra firm that you will use and appreciate more often.

Our history…John Davey left the family farm in Somerset, England, in 1873 to live his dream in America, where he founded Davey Tree Expert Company in 1880 to preserve ailing trees and provide quality horticultural services. After more than a century of operation, the company has transformed into a flourishing, employee-owned enterprise with more than 6,500 men and women performing tree, shrub, and lawn care throughout the United States and Canada.
Employees of the Davey Tree Expert Company continue to follow John Davey’s example in setting and meeting high technical standards of plant care. Davey employees are the envy of the green industry because of our company pride, our technical excellence, and our work ethic. We live John Davey’s philosophy: “Do it right, or not at all.”
