Where do our readers begin when they’re ready to update their kitchens?
The best place to start is by coming in to meet one of our designers to see our showroom. The showroom is filled with 8,800 square feet of ideas for kitchens, bathrooms, entertainment centers, and much more.
Scenario: I’m always running into people in my kitchen — How can I redirect traffic?
Hire a professional kitchen designer for help with good traffic flow and appliance placement. You will be asked to discuss how you use your kitchen, how many cooks, how you entertain, and what other activities take place in your kitchen.
Scenario: It seems like we never have enough storage space. How can we maximize it, even in a smaller kitchen?
A good kitchen designer will help you make the best use of limited space by incorporating such things as tall shallow pantry cabinets and appropriate cabinetry accessories. We can maximize the storage in a small kitchen.
What trends are gaining momentum in the residential market?
Mid-tone wood finishes and more combinations of wood species, stains, and paint finishes are a trend. We’re using lots of drawers in our kitchen designs and more specialized appliances such as microwave drawers, refrigerator drawers, and steam ovens.
Today’s kitchens are …
more functional, more personalized, and more beautifully designed than ever before.
Would you like to add anything else?
Don’t let our name fool you. We do so much more than kitchens—we’re a design/build remodeling firm. Our services include kitchen and bath remodeling as well as lower levels, laundry rooms, home offices, master suites, and entertainment centers—cabinetry for any room in the home!

Our specialty:
We provide unparalleled service to our customers, whether they’re contractors or do-it-yourself homeowners, in addition to providing the largest inventory of tile in the Twin Cities.
Where do our readers begin when they’re ready to update their kitchens?
Decorating magazines and books are great resources to determine the style you are looking for. Bringing example photos with you to our showrooms (natural stone and ceramic organized by type, color, and size) helps our design consultants narrow down your choices. Tile is vast and gorgeous and suits a plethora of needs.
What are some ways to renovate without breaking the bank?
Backsplashes and feature areas are the best place to invest in eye-catching and more expensive materials. Since they tend to be smaller spaces, you can spend more in those areas and save on large areas like floors and full walls.
What trends are gaining momentum in the residential market?
Tiles with linear designs—running vertically and horizontally—are still a strong trend, along with larger format tiles. Super durable porcelain tiles that replicate the look of stained concrete, wood, and natural stone are also strong trends.
One more thing:
There are so many options on the market for tile and stone, your head could feel like it’s spinning once you’ve done your research. What are the pros and cons of each type? And which ones will work with your budget and personal style? Our most valuable asset is our honest and knowledgeable sales staff—trained to help our customers feel confident about these sometimes overwhelming choices.
