With 350 feet of west facing shoreline, the property at 20670 Linwood Road in Deephaven is about location. Situated on Gluek’s Point the 2.37-acre property last sold in January 1979 for $425,000; it’s now on the market for $3.995 million, having recently been backed down from $4.25 million. The selling attraction is not the house, likely a tear down. But this is one of those special “estate” settings that are increasing rare anywhere on the lake. One of the former Lake Minnetonka summer homes of the Van Dusen family is on the market for $2.99 million as either a subdivision or a family compound estate on the 6.5 acre property. With views of Crane Island and 328 feet of shoreline, the property could possibly be divided into three lake shore lots and three non-lakeshore building sites.
