A Month for the Senses

May is a month when we can enjoy every sense we have. Taste the flavors of spring fruits and vegetables. See the beauty of spring buds and blooms. Smell their aromas. And feel the tiny tinge that taps our hearts when we watch baby goslings follow their mothers across the street to take a dip in a new pond.
This month we preview the Eighth Annual Twin Cities Luxury Home Tour. We are excited to introduce you to our fine custom homebuilders and the tour’s featured sponsors. All of these parties help create the opportunity to showcase some of the most amazing homes in the Twin Cities. All of the details for the June tour, along with a new option to take the tour chauffeured via limo, are highlighted in the preview section pages. The Official Luxury Home Tour Program will be in our upcoming June/July issue, showcasing each home and the features you will be able to see firsthand.
Also in this month’s issue, we bring you showrooms from around the area, featuring everything from appliances to interior design. Photos and descriptions will help you plan a list of showrooms to visit while making selections for those dream homes and dream rooms that you have started—or hope to start soon.
As I write this column March 31, I am watching snowflakes swirl outside my window. (Our deadlines are two months out.) But I am comforted and excited to know that we will be enjoying spring’s sights, sounds, smells—and even that tap on our hearts—very soon.
