The customer service at Light’ N Up!™ is so exceptional, selecting lighting for your home is almost as easy as flipping on a light switch.

“Our salespeople are all seasoned veterans in the lighting design field,” says Tony Schumacher, owner of Light’ N Up. “They know how to find the lighting solution that best fits our clients’ design intent.”

Light’ N Up’s 4,200-square-foot showroom in Waconia features a huge selection of styles and finishes. You’ll find chandeliers, table lamps, and everything in between, representing more than 50 manufacturers including Kichler, Corbett, Hudson Valley, Hinkley, Eurofase, and glass pendants from LBL, Bruck, and Tech Lighting. “We display fixtures in a wide range of styles and pricing—everything from contemporary to traditional, crystal, tiffany, and a great collection of fans,” Schumacher says.

Light’ N Up provides both design and selection services. To assist, the showroom has a complete lighting lab. During a private lighting design workshop, clients can mix and match lighting applications like recessed fixtures, pendants, and chandeliers to see how each changes the mood of a room. The lab includes LED recessed fixtures, which save 85 percent energy over incandescent fixtures. More decorative fixtures are being made with energy efficient lamp sources like LEDs, Schumacher says, and Light’ N Up is a place to see them.

“LED lighting is quickly becoming the ‘green’ lighting source of choice,” he continues. “LEDs provide better energy efficiency than fluorescent bulbs, create the same lighting feel as incandescent bulbs, and they last an average of 50,000 hours.”
