After you see the home cinema setup at Orion Home Systems, it would be hard to go back to go back to watching movies on your wide-screen TV.

“We have a state-of-the-art Runco projector with a Da-Lite 2.35:1 movie screen that shows movies the way they were meant to be seen,” says Keith Stanze, president of Orion Home Systems.

This 116-inch screen is better than your typical home theater, Stanze explains, because its CineWide™ technology displays movies at a 2.35:1 aspect ratio. A square TV screen has a 4:3 aspect ratio. A wide-screen flat panel TV has a 16:9 aspect ratio. But 2.35:1 is what you’d see in a movie theater. Or, with the help of Orion Home Systems, in your home’s dedicated cinema room. Orion is one of just three companies in the Twin Cities showing 2.35:1 aspect ratio projectors and screens, Stanze adds. “People are amazed at what information is on the screen that they didn’t even know was part of the movie,” he says. “If people are doing a home theater and they haven’t seen the 2.35:1 aspect ratio, they should see it before they spend any money.”

The cinema room in Orion’s showroom is designed for an immersive demonstration experience, with a top-notch audio system and big, comfortable home theater chairs. It’s a taste of what Orion can design and install for homeowners.

“We specialize in home theater and multi-room audio-video,” Stanze says. “We can distribute audio to as many rooms as people want in their house. We can also do home theater from start to finish, basic or advanced.”

The showroom has a full racking system that shows the latest and greatest in audio and video gear, he continues, “along with the best color LCD touch panels in the marketplace.” And, you’ll see examples of central vacuums, security systems, lighting controls, home automation, and remote controls.

The technology in Orion’s showroom is incredible, and its home theater has definite wow-factor. But what sets Orion Home Systems apart from competitors is its high level of customer service, says Stanze, a 22-year veteran of the home electronics industry. The members of his experienced staff are committed to exceeding client expectations.

“Our unending level of customer services is what separates us from other companies,” he says. “We go over and above what’s required of us to make sure that our clients are absolutely satisfied with the system they have every time.

“Some companies talk about having customer service. We actually believe in it.”
