silestoneusa.comIt’s the water wall and fountain that sets the tone when you walk into the showroom at Silestone. Water slides over a wall of Silestone, highlighting the beauty of this engineered surface. It’s a taste of what’s to come—a showroom where the Silestone is the main attraction.
“You’re walking into a room that is full of Silestone,” says Monica Cuevas, customer service at Silestone. “You will find all kinds of displays from traditional to more contemporary…you have plenty of choices.”
Silestone is an engineered surface made of 93 percent quartz and 7 percent resin. “It’s probably the best countertop material that you can find for your home,” Cuevas says. The hard, non-porous surface has a 15-year warranty and includes Microban, a product that inhibits the growth of bacteria by 99 percent. For this reason, Silestone is certified by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF). It has also earned GREENGUARD certification because it is clean, safe, and does not emit any volatile organic compounds.
Silestone is available in more than 70 colors in glossy and leather textures, and the Silestone showroom has samples of them all. In modern and traditional styles, the showroom demonstrates various applications of Silestone, which is used primarily in kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas of the home with countertops. Another highlight to see here is Muro, a backsplash product made of 100 percent recycled Silestone. In addition to beautiful Silestone surfaces, the showroom offers sinks and plumbing fixtures. An in-house designer who is a 15-year interior design veteran is available to help customers, and the showroom offers an installation service.
When you visit, Cuevas recommends you schedule and appointment for more personalized service. She suggests visiting the showroom not only to better understand the virtues of Silestone, but also to get a hands-on sense of Silestone’s diverse palette of colors.
“If you want to see something different, this is the place,” she says.
The showroom has been at its current location since November. A grand opening is planned for late spring.
