Gary Aulik can sum up his approach to building and remodeling in a few words:

For the last 30 years, these tenets have shaped Aulik & Associates, which specializes in fine home building, historic renovation, and simple to complex remodeling projects. While the company works primarily in the Twin Cities, it has expanded to include projects in Wisconsin, Florida, and Arizona.

“We strive to work with clients to design and build a home that reflects their lifestyle and personal tastes, and also complements the neighborhood that it stands in,” Aulik says. He credits a desire to build with durable, lasting products in a mindset of conservation and preservation as the driving force behind his work. He also carries his passion to community interests, serving as president of the Twin Cities Builders Outreach Foundation and as treasurer of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities.

Most of all, Aulik enjoys the challenges and teamwork that come with the remodeling business. “I absolutely love to do what we do,” he says. “I am the luckiest guy I know.”
