Anchor Your Look
Interior designer Greg Walsh, principal of Walsh Design Group in Minneapolis, has lots of experience with the “Glam Rock” look—including work in a genuine rock star’s home. The key, he says, is choosing anchor pieces with just a whisper of the motif. “For one home, we used a button-tufted Chesterfield sofa with a slightly metallized leather and another anchor piece covered in silvery gray mohair,” he says. Once you have the baseline in place, he says, let the accessories do the heavy lifting.
