The Landing
Every home has lake views at the Landing, although that’s not surprising given the neighborhood’s setting—a peninsula of rolling hill prairies on a four-lake chain. About 30 of the Landing’s home sites are available; this is a neighborhood of Craftsman-style single-family homes with four-sided architecture, starting at about $350,000. All lots are an acre or larger. The highlight of the neighborhood are its lakes; two marinas grant private lake access. A community boat cottage offers gathering space with a gas fireplace and an outdoor gas grill. Residents also enjoy trails and a gazebo. The Landing is 50 minutes south of Burnsville; shopping and entertainment are just 15 minutes away in nearby Mankato.
