Bridgewater is under construction at 215 10th Ave. S., overlooking Gold Medal Park, the green space adjacent to the new Guthrie Theater. It will offer 282 well-appointed loft-style condominium homes, with 10-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, maple cabinetry, and, Stanton says, “the biggest closets in town.”

Homes range from just under 1,000 square feet to just under 3,000, priced between $249,900 and $1,100,000.

When residents are not marveling at the view, they have plenty of amenities to enjoy. Bridgewater has a two-story community room with a kitchen, deck, fire pit, and a view of downtown. Bridgewater also boasts an exercise room, a rooftop swimming pool and whirlpool, and heated underground parking.

Monthly association dues are 28 cents a square foot and, in addition to water usage, maintenance and management costs, dues include heating, cooling and cable TV.

Among the retail space on Bridgewater’s first floor will be an upscale wine shop. Residents may store their wine in Bridgewater’s climate-controlled wine cellar.

The neighborhood has dining, entertainment, parks, a light rail station, the Metrodome, and the heart of downtown within just a few blocks. Nearby paths run along the Mississippi and connect to just about anywhere in Minneapolis.

Bridgewater is the first Shamrock Developers and Builders project in the Mill District. The company is an experienced developer, having built several condominium developments nearby in the Minneapolis North Loop neighborhood. Homes are still available at 5th Avenue Lofts, 212 Lofts, Rock Island Lofts and Riverwalk Lofts.
