Cartier Lighting & Home specializes in every type of decorative and functional lighting imaginable for home interiors and exteriors.
“We understand that the right lighting brings your personality to life, brightens your everyday tasks and creates a warm environment in which to work and play,” says Tom Cartier, president of Cartier Lighting & Home.
The Cartier showroom has had its customers’ needs in mind from the day it opened more than 10 years ago: an atmosphere that would put people at ease.
“We knew that visiting a lighting showroom could typically be overwhelming, confusing and uncomfortable,” Cartier explains. “With this in mind, we created an inviting, comfortable showroom space, knowing that our guests spend many hours here making their lighting selections.”
A visit to the 10,000-square-foot showroom is to experience the latest styles and home lighting trends. The Cartier Lighting & Home showroom is a great resource regardless of whether you are building new, remodeling, or just updating your home with a fresh lighting look.
“At Cartier Lighting & Home we receive new lighting and home fashion accessories on a daily basis so our showroom is always fresh with new products,” Kari Cartier says. “The lighting industry is similar to the fashion industry in that it changes constantly…each time you visit, you are guaranteed to see a new mix of product.”
The showroom offers a range of styles from traditional to contemporary, from casual elegance to rustic lodge. Exclusive brands include the Exclusive Cartier Collection by Schonbek, the Tracy Porter Collection by Savoy House, and Geometrix.
To aid decision-making, Cartier Lighting & Home is organized by lighting categories. Bath lighting has its own area, as do wall sconces and ceiling fans. There’s an outdoor room with a home façade and deck to demonstrate exterior lighting, and crystal light fixtures have a room of their own. “Because our displays are so extensive, you are able to see finishes, glass options, size, and scale all first hand,” Kari Cartier says. Displays are merchandised with occasional furniture, unique home accessories and an array of lamps, mirrors and framed art.
Among the more exotic elements adorning the showroom’s unique fixtures are capiz shell, rock crystal and hand-carved wood. Cartier’s additional 10,000 square feet of warehouse space and large in-stock inventory allows customers to take home most items that day. The showroom also accepts special orders if a homeowner is looking for something particularly unique.
Cartier Lighting & Home is staffed with professional lighting consultants to assist homeowners with lighting plan layout, design and custom requests. “They all have the training, knowledge and the experience to help you use lighting to make your home more functional, safer and more beautiful,” Tom Cartier says. “Listening to your lighting needs, working within budgets, providing a high level of customer service and achieving great results is what they do best.” They suggest that homeowners bring pictures, measurements of important room features, design elements such as tile or fabric swatches, or building plans. Appointments are not required. The showroom also offers after hours appointments for customers’ convenience.
