J. Roux Interior Design’s showroom is a feast for the senses—a space full of vibrant color, rich texture, and palpable ideas. Though the design firm is a more than 20-year veteran, its new 14,000-square-foot showroom opened last October in Plymouth. Here, among antiques, furniture, and accessories, you will find many delightful and surprising furnishings.

All products are purchased directly from vendors, eliminating middle-man markups and allowing J. Roux to discount below retail prices on a daily basis on brands like Furguson-Copeland and Bentley Churchill. One of three designers, including Janis Kennedy, Allied ASID and senior interior designer of J. Roux, is always at the showroom to answer customers’ questions.

Design is the heart and soul of J. Roux’s design studio. Adjacent to the showroom, an extensive library of everything from stone veneer to shingles, faucets to tile, enables homeowners to plan their home’s entire floor plan in one well-supplied space. Even J. Roux’s enormous selection of fabrics spans shelves across three walls.

“You can come here and find that one accessory you can’t find anywhere else,” says Kate Carlson, office manager.
