Roth Distributing is a regional distributor of luxury kitchen products, including Sub-Zero refrigeration, Wolf cooking products, Asko dishwashers and laundry equipment, Best hoods and KWC faucets and sinks. The company is based in Denver, with five branch locations featuring these fine products, including Minnesota’s Living Kitchen.

This 10,000-square-foot showroom in Minnetonka is a remarkable facility that includes 13 kitchen vignettes and a culinary training center used for retail training and consumer education events. The Roth Living Kitchen is open to the public by appointment only, to provide product information and assistance in product selection, including live demonstrations.

“Our showroom is truly a destination, showcasing these fine products and kitchen design trends in a series of luxury vignettes,” says Elaine Mahin, marketing representative.

“As a product distributor, the showroom is a unique concept because we are not a retail business,” Mahin explains. “Consumers who visit our facility will be able to see a majority of the product line from each of the manufacturers that we represent. Our showroom staff is highly trained regarding the features and benefits, as well as use and care of the five brands.”

A visit to the Living Kitchen is certainly in order for homeowners looking to choose new luxury appliances. Vignettes show how the appliances fit a home kitchen and offer a hands-on display of the fine quality of these appliances.

“Our staff is prepared to answer their questions and provide the necessary information to move the selection process forward,” Mahin says.

The Living Kitchen offers an evening dinner presentation for those who are in the selection process and want to see the products in action. Owner use and care sessions are offered on a regular basis for those who already have Roth Distributing’s products. Reservations are required.

The Living Kitchen will be adding new products to its vignettes as they are introduced in the coming months. Early May’s Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in Las Vegas signals new product introductions. Look for a new line of Sub-Zero under-counter refrigeration and beverage storage; and an expanded offering of induction cooktops and wall ovens from Wolf Appliances. “Asko and KWC will undoubtedly enhance their lines as well,” Mahin predicts. “This is an exciting time of year in the appliance industry!”
