The Parade of HomesSM Fall Showcase arrives just in time for autumn. It’s a season when our thoughts turn naturally to nesting and settling warmly and comfortably into our abodes—the perfect time to gather ideas for your space or a new home of your own.

The Parade of HomesSM, September 6 - October 5, is presented by the Builders Association of the Twin Cities. This marks the 60th anniversary of the Parade of HomesSM, the largest and oldest new home tour in the United States. The Parade presents an opportunity to walk through nearly 500 model homes representing a fine selection of new home construction throughout the Twin Cities metro area.

Before you hop in the car, get started with the Parade’s online “Tour Planner.” Here, you will be able to view homes in advance of your visit and search using keywords. Save your favorites so can be sure to visit them all. Don’t miss this fall’s two Dream Homes: Each may be toured for a $5 donation, with proceeds benefiting the Builder Outreach Foundation, the Parade’s charitable arm. The Parade also includes a mini tour of nine fabulous Dream Rooms, from a kitchen to a bath, a rec room to outdoor living space. And don’t miss the latest offering of green homes; eight on the Fall Showcase are certified by Minnesota GreenStar.
