Great River Energy Mississippi River Challenge

 
July 26 - July 27, 2008 •  Paddling event begins at Coon Rapids Dam • Cycling event begins at Historic Fort Snelling

The Challenge is a one- or two-day event to raise awareness of the Mississippi River in the Twin Cities. You can participate by bicycle on the many beautiful trails in the river gorge, or by paddling your canoe or kayak and exploring the cities from the perspective of the river. All food and beverages for the weekend, safety and sag support, shuttles, interpretive highlights, live music and camping at Fort Snelling are included in the registration fee.
